The 2025 Swift Challenger 480 is a premium two-berth caravan designed for comfort and luxury on the road. It features a sleek, aerodynamic exterior with Swift's SMART construction for enhanced durability and insulation.

Swifts’ revolutionary SMART construction consists of timber-less framed GRP body panels, hail resistant GRP roof and ‘sandwich’ floor construction with GRP outer skin, ply upper and high rigidity Ravatherm core giving them all Grade 3 classification for heating and thermal insulation as low as -15 degrees C. 10 year manufacturer backed bodyshell warranty

All internal and external comfort and running lights are low energy LED.

It has the galvanised steel Alko chassis with side lift jack and brackets. Alko stabilising hitch and ATC automatic trailer control.

On the roof there is an upgraded 120W solar panel and you will also benefit from an external 230V mains socket, BBQ point, and Cold-water shower point (twin axles only)

The rear panel has reinforced fixing bars for optional Thule rear mounted cycle rack which can accommodate 2 bikes up to a maximum weight of 50kg (including rack)

New 15” half diamond cut edge alloy wheels Steel spare wheel with higher tyre rating to support heavier loads improve the towing experience, coming with its own Alko Wheel lock.

For added security the Swift comes complete with Passive infra-red alarm system with tilt sensor, VIN CHIPTM identification system concealed within construction and CRiS identity number labels on windows and caravan chassis.

 

The Exterior one-piece door with window with blind, bin, dustpan and brush with dead lock facility and single key operation for all doors and lockers.

A single height entrance step and 25m mains hook up lead are also supplied as standard.

Inside, the Challenger 480 offers a spacious layout with a front lounge that converts into a large double bed, modern day usage and comfort has been considered in depth with head clearance of 6ft 5inches to accommodate the taller occupants.

Finished with stylish neutral furnishings and upholstery colour scheme throughout complete with scatter cushions. The living area made up of parallel benches which converts to a roomy double bed which is the ideal space to rest and relax, maybe listen to the some music on the FM/DAB radio with USB, Bluetooth connectivity and auxiliary input with built in speakers in living area or if you prefer to watch some tv there is a Status 570 directional digital tv and radio antenna with internal and external TV points with 230V, 12V and aerial sockets and  least four standard power sockets, USB points and NEW wireless phone charging pad for easy charging of portable devices

 

Throughout the caravan you will find Soft close drawers and upper lockers, Sectioned removable and bleachable carpets including in the washroom and a hard wearing entrance mat, Blackout pleated blinds and flyscreen cover all windows.

 

The Alde central heating and water heating can be Controlled using the 4” LCD colour touchscreen panel allowing you to program times for heating and hot water, check levels and temperatures.

 

A NEW L-shaped kitchen top and fold down extension improves worktop space and storage, the kitchen houses all expected appliances with a Thetford domestic style cooker with oven and grill with three-burner gas hob and one electric hot plate, Flatbed digital microwave and Dual hinged opening Dometic 133 litre tall slimline fridge with removable 12 litre freezer compartment.

 

As well as the expected appliances the kitchen comprises removable drainer and chopping board washing up bowl, two pull-out wire baskets in kitchen cupboard, cutlery drawers, chrome finish crockery rack and a freestanding dining table.

The bathroom has had a complete redesign for the 2025 season with improved shower door and upgraded vanity area and as expected there is the usual Thetford cassette toilet,  sink and vanity with domestic style shower and in addition in selected models you will find an additional towel ring, washroom shower hanging rail, towel rail above radiator and washroom storage shelf.

 

All caravans come fitted with smoke and carbon monoxide alarms as standard.
