Try Caravanning Before You Buy – Including a Full Towing Experience
Buying a touring caravan is a big commitment, and it’s important to get it right. That’s why we offer try-before-you-buy weekends—giving you the chance to experience the caravanning lifestyle, explore different layouts, and see what suits you and your family best. And if you decide to buy from us within 12 months, we’ll refund your hire fee in full (up to £1,000)*.
Please contact us with your interest and requirements, our spaces fill up very fast! If we are fully booked for your desired dates then it is still worth enquiring and we can put your details onto our waiting list.
Dogs are welcome in selected caravans—please let us know at the time of booking. Pricing includes up to two adults and four children.
No Tow Car? No Problem.
With our unique service, there’s no need to invest in a tow car or fit a tow bar just to try caravanning. Whether you’re new to it all or testing a specific layout, our try-before-you-buy package makes it simple and stress-free.
We also offer a towing experience as part of your weekend. You can get behind the wheel using one of our vehicles, guided by our experienced tutors. Practice key towing skills like reversing, manoeuvring, and towing at speed. We’ll walk you through how to attach mirrors, hitch up the caravan, and complete all essential safety checks before hitting the road.

Your Stay at Red Shoot Camping Park
Your adventure begins at The Red Shoot Camping Park, nestled in the heart of the New Forest. Check-in is from 3pm, where a member of our friendly team will welcome you with a full handover. The caravan you've selected will be fully set up on-site, cleaned to a high standard, safety-checked, and equipped—just bring bedding and towels.
We’ll show you how everything works—from heating and hot water to the cassette toilet—so you feel confident and at ease.
After your towing session, the rest of the weekend is yours to enjoy. Explore the stunning New Forest, discover local attractions, and relax in your chosen caravan setup.
Check out on Monday and head home with a clear idea of whether caravanning is right for you. And if you choose to buy a caravan from us within 12 months, your hire fee (up to £1,000*) will be fully refunded.
